Yama Sega provokes Senegalese anger after Guinea's defeat against Senegal

The Senegalese web is boiling after a controversial post by Guinean artist Yama Sega, provoking the anger of netizens after Guinea's recent defeat against Senegal. The incident sparked fierce controversy, attracting the attention of Senegalese celebrities and calling for a boycott of Yama Sega's concert in Dakar on 16 February.

Yama Sega did not hide his bitterness after the victory of the Teranga Lions against Guinea. On social networks, the singer posted an image highlighting the face of Krépin Diatta, a key player of the Senegalese team, accompanied by a comment that provoked the indignation of Senegals. Considering this a dismissed mocking, many Internet users have expressed their dissatisfaction, triggering a chain reaction on the web.

The publication of Yama Sega caused an avalanche of criticism, mainly on the Senegalese side, who soon expressed their disapproval. Several celebrities also reacted, leaving virulent comments in response to the controversial publication. Among them, TFM host Bijou Ndiaye urged Senegalese to massively report Yama Sega's Facebook account in response to what she sees as an insult to Krépin Diatta.

The situation took a more serious turn with a call for a boycott of Yama Sega's concert in Dakar on 16 February. Senegalese internet users massively shared the artist's photo with messages calling not to attend his concert as a protest against his behaviour deemed disrespectful to senegalese players.

Halima Gadj's crazy replica: Actress Halima Gadj did not chew her words by responding vividly to Yama Sega on social networks. She severely criticized the Guinean artist, pointing out that even "the caca of Krépin" would be more aesthetic than Yama Sega. A frontal attack that has amplified the already palpable tension on the web.

Yama Sega's post sparked a storm on social networks, highlighting the tensions exacerbated between Senegalese and Guinean fans following the football match. As the singer faces a call to boycott her concert in Dakar, the case continues to arouse passionate reactions and raises questions about the responsibility of public figures on social networks.
