This committed and passionate woman has marked the digital and social landscape of her country through her online and field activism. Her inspiring career demonstrates her commitment to promoting gender equality, democracy and access to information technology.

Éducation

After obtaining his bachelor's degree in 2011 at the Catholic institute Sainte-Marie in Conakry, Diallo flew to France to pursue his graduate studies.

She obtained a bachelor's degree in Information-Communication from the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, a second degree in Economics-Sociology from the Jean Jaurès University of Toulouse, and eventually graduated with a Master 2 in Public Communication and Political Communications from the European Communication School in Paris.

Entrepreneuriat social

Dieretou Diallo was keen to highlight the activities of the Guinean diaspora and in 2015 launched a web-television dedicated entirely to this community.

Although the initiative had to stop in 2017 due to a lack of funding, it demonstrates the young woman’s entrepreneurial spirit and determination

 More recently, in May 2021, it initiated, with the help of two Guinean cartographers, a mapping of Guinean cultural events with the aim of enhancing them using digital technology.

Blogging

Dieretou Diallo is a committed blogger who uses this platform to promote her ideas and causes.

She has collaborated with media such as Jeune Afrique and BBC Africa during her internships and piges, and has featured radio chronicles on RFI Africa in the show "Le Rendez-vous des Tchatcheuses".

Activisme

Dieretou Diallo's activism focuses mainly on the defence of democracy, the spread of information technologies in Guinea and the promotion of women's rights.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the association of bloggers of Guinea and co-founder of the collective Guinea of the twenty-first century, which she created in 2016.

Its campaign #GuineaDu21esiècle, launched on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, 2016, has gained international echo by highlighting the living conditions of Guinean women through digital technology.

Dieretou Diallo has also co-organized and led several other feminist digital campaigns, such as #NosFillesAvecLeurClito against excision in 2018 and the marathon #1Km1Droit #RunForYoursRights, a flagship activity of the collective "Guinea of the twenty-first century".

In recognition of her social activities and engaged articles, Dieretou Diallo was awarded "Best Blogger of the Year 2016" at the Guinean Excellence Awards in Canada.
